GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques, a broad knowledge of financial management-related laws, administrative regulations, policies, procedures, fact-finding techniques, and skill in applying evaluative methods to measure the operational effectiveness and efficiency of a loan and grant program; Performing complex financial and administrative analyses of a variety of grant mechanisms to determine if costs are reasonable, allowable and allocable; (and) Providing technical authority in the development and review of compliance policies and procedures. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Generally, time in Non-Pay status as a federal employee is not creditable towards the specialized experience requirement listed above.
