Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical services and support of major systems and equipment specific to Marine Gas Turbine engines and generators. 2) Performing testing and inspections of shipboard marine gas turbine systems or equipment to determine material condition and state of operability. 3) Identifying and resolving repair/overhaul or test/grooming problems affecting the overall system. 4) Conducting engineering analyses and studies for the purpose of developing or evaluating improvements in design, maintenance, safety and operation of assigned equipment/systems.
