Fitness Facilities Manager Nf-04 Rft (Mccs Employees Only) Job Overview
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. One year of experience in the operation, administration, or oversight of fitness, recreation, or similar customer service facilities and programs. 2. Two years' experience in supervision and management of a diverse team or equivalent leadership experience including assigning work, evaluating performance, training employees, mentorship and providing day-to-day operational oversight. 3. Possess a current CPR, AED, and First Aid certificate from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or obtain within 6 months of hire. 4. Possess and maintain a basic level group exercise or personal trainer certification from a nationally recognized and accredited certifying organization or able to obtain within 6 months of hire. ADDITIONAL HIGHLY PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Two years of general work experience that demonstrates knowledge of DoD and/or MWR programs, government procurement and recreation management software programs.
