BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least one year experience that demonstrates knowledge of basic and well-established library procedures related to routine and repetitive aspects of major library functions and developing/presenting library programs. Experience working with children and adults, both one-on-one and in group settings. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include weekends, holidays and evenings. Must be able to travel to the six MCCS branch libraries on Okinawa. Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. Basic office skills in typing, filing, good customer service skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience working on various social media platforms. Have a strong command of English including speaking, reading and writing. Ability to perform and/or present in public. Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment as required by mission.
