A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Demonstrated work experience that furnish the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform the duties of this position consistent with accepted practices of the trade as indicated below: Knowledge of and skill to maintain and repair skis, boots, poles, bindings, snowboards. Skill in the use of a variety of manual and electrical tools and shop machines necessary for the maintenance and repair of equipment. Knowledge of basic mathematics to estimate/order materials, conduct measurements, and make adjustments. Ability to read and interpret manufacturer specifications used in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Ability to distinguish or determine proper dimensions and/or type of equipment needed to ensure proper fit. Knowledge of the proper methods of accurately completing documentation forms, taking inventory, maintaining hand receipts, etc. 2. Ability to use and maintain appropriate tools and equipment. 3. Ability to read, understand, and apply instruction and other materials related to the job.
