TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE GS-6 LEVEL, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENT: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Have at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level in the Federal service that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of a Purchasing Agent, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. Specialized experience includes Communicates with Internal and External customers. Assembles appropriate documents for purchase orders with 3rd party Vendors, using agency, guidance and regulations. Resolves conflicts in administering purchase orders. Maintains accurate records of transactions and completes all adjustments to computerized system. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title; duties; month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week.
