Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE Ability to use a variety of both routine and some complex mechanical and electrical operating characteristics of tools, High Torque Volt systems, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to be able to troubleshoot rework, disassemble, repair, reassemble, replace and test equipment. Ability to check parts and replace worn or broken parts, such as bearings, bushings, "0" rings, seals, defective wiring (except in electric motors) etc. Ability to work from plans, technical manuals, sketches, and diagrams to determine clearances, torque pressures, calibration, make measurements of great precision and complexity for proper adjustment of assemblies and completion of tasks. Ability to determine when tools and equipment should be sent to test, repair, and/or calibration shops. Abitlity to use hand tools, precision measuring tools and devices, power equipment and shop machinery to complete disassemble, rework, repairs, balancing, and assembly of items. Ability to navigate and use Electronic Facility & Equipment Maintenance program "EFEM".
