Logistics Management Specialist (Supply Support Lead) Job Overview

To qualify for this position at the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, (FG/GS 12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes experience resolving problems and work issues relating to inventory management; planning and executing supply support projects, concepts, principles and practices relative to logistics in support of National Air Space (NAS). Analyzes various automated systems and data to evaluate audit reports, regulations, and other relevant material. Experience providing guidance to Inventory Managers on NAS hand-off equipment, development of contract requirements and/or blanket purchasing agreements (BPA). Experience as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) on highly complex contracts for repair, acquisition, and/or total supply for NAS.
