AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1 & 3 Only. Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency WITH dual FL National Guard military membership; Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard. First consideration will be given to Category 1. PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard. Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in thebest interest of the Florida National Guard. FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation. Military Grades: Enlisted: E4 thru E7 NOTE: Must be Financial Manager Level 2 qualified within 2 years of employment. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience with financial management budget administration, budget formulation, and budget execution with a high order of analytical ability, providing management oversight and guidance to the budget formulation and execution process, performs work that follows established methods and procedures; using practical knowledge of the operations, procedures, and policies of specific program areas or functional assignments; and problem solving techniques and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-09: Do you have at least one year of specialized experiences at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience, education, or training of finance budget competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures; candidate must have a good understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements; experiences and training that demonstrate the abilities to follow directions, to read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies, and procedures.
