In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying mechanical engineering principles, practices, and skills to the analysis, design, fabrication, modification/reconfiguration, testing, and installation of complex mechanical systems/components supporting oceanographic mission survey systems. Experience executing assigned products and leading teams supporting mechanical engineering efforts for mission systems. Experience supporting mechanical systems on Navy vessels by applying mechanical engineering principles. Experience identifying technical requirements and planning and scheduling resources to meet project objectives.
