Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Teaching, training, researching, making presentations, lecturing, testing, and other instructional methods; Determining objectives and strategies; Coordinating with other parts of an organization to accomplish goals; Monitoring and evaluating the progress and outcomes for learners; AND Interpreting training requirements and curriculum needs and independently adapting training to fit the needs of the learner. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. *CONTINUED CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Marine Corps Range Safety Officer Course and Basic Instructor Certification within 1 year from the date of employment. You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver's license. You will be required to obtain and maintain a current certification in the following within 2 years from the date of employment: Non-lethal Weapons Instructor, including Taser, baton and Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) spray, small arms marksmanship instructor, Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC) Instructor, Speed Measuring Instructor for Radar and Lidar, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Instructor, Gas Mask Fit Test Certification.
