Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Applicant must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use hand or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described which generally require no prior or previous work experience. Skills and Knowledge: Must have the ability to follow instructions and read signs. Must have a basic knowledge of common cleaning solvents, cleaning tools, and equipment. Must be able to remove different kinds of stains from a wide variety of surfaces. Must be able to troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repair and maintenance of equipment. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess at least three (3) months of custodial experience. This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered best qualified. **Applicants who meet both the minimum qualifications and the best qualifying criteria may be referred to the selecting official first. To be evaluated as a best qualified candidate, your resume MUST clearly reflect the skills, knowledge and experience listed under the best qualified criteria above.
