To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Leading or directing government and/or contractor personnel performing aircraft maintenance or modification activities and ensuring work complies with applicable maintenance, safety, and technical requirements; Developing, implementing, tracking, and communicating aircraft maintenance, modification, or integration plans and schedules to coordinate personnel, resources, project requirements, and operational priorities; Performing or overseeing maintenance and modification of aircraft systems, such as hydraulic, pneumatic, powerplant, electrical, or avionics systems, across multiple aircraft platforms.
