Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Requires previous experience or training on maintaining small engines/gas powered equipment. Must have practical experience in the various techniques for removing, replacing, cleaning and installing various parts, components, and accessories. Must have knowledge of carpentry to measure, cut, construct, install, repair and modify wood, composite, and wood substitute items. Must be able to design and construct and install according to specifications. Must be skilled in various use and operation of hand and power tools such as hammers, hand awls, drills, planes, routers, screwdrivers, power nailers and fasteners, glue guns, metal shears, power saws, power sanders and planes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of carpentry 2. Ability to design and construct and install according to specifications. 3. Skilled in various use and operation of hand and power tools.
