To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): There is no specific length of training or experience required: However, applicants will be rated on the basis of their responses to the Occupational Questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision, and the information contained in their resume. Physical Effort: Moderately physical effort is required to continuously perform manual cleaning tasks. Position requires walking, standing for long periods, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching, and climbing. There are occasional short periods of more physical effort when moving furniture, cabinets, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Working Conditions: Position works inside with adequate lighting and ventilation. Occasionally works outside when washing windows and when assigned to clinics outside of the main buildings. Will be exposed to some mechanical hazards, moving objects, crowded rooms, and wet slippery floor surfaces. Subject to cuts and bruises when lifting and moving heavy items, and minor shock when working with power machines. Subject to exposure to infectious diseases, danger of falling off stepladders when cleaning high areas, hanging draper or curtains.
