Job Responsibilities

As a Claims Management Program Analyst, your day-to-day work will influence how the IHSC interacts with third-party administrators and off-site community providers. Your core responsibilities include:

• Program Leadership: Developing and evaluating CMP policies to ensure adherence to industry-standard eligibility verification and authorization of care.
• Liaison Functions: Acting as the primary point of contact between ICE ERO, CBP, and external medical providers.
• Process Optimization: Managing the recruitment and retention of off-site providers while refining workflows to decrease claims denials.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring that health services align with evidence-based national guidelines.

Requirements

This position is open only to current IHSC USPHS officers. To qualify, you must possess:

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in your officer category.
• At least two years of specialized experience in healthcare management, administration, finance, or medical claims.
• A valid qualifying degree from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.
• The ability to travel 15% of the time.

Salary Overview
